Luke Skywalker is trying to rebuild the Jedi Order and has decided that it's time to start a new academy. He just needs a location and students. Meanwhile, Han is off to Kessel to open negotiations on behalf of the New Republic, and Leia is stuck on Coruscant worrying about everyone. Oh, and there's a new/old Imperial Admiral, a new superweapon and its designer, and a force sensitive slave in prison. The Jedi Academy trilogy has begun.
