The Waverider has crossed us over to a new reality. One where the Tomorrow People, with telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation abilities, are on the run from the government run ULTRA organization.  Thanatos! Sounds like a Greek war cry. But what it ends up being is a man, a scientist in fact, that was there in the beginning helping Jed build Ultra! So many reveals this episode as Cara reveals to Jed she still has her powers, Stephen's dads was actually killed by John, the Founder of Ultra is a Breakout himself, and so much more! TL289 - Tomorrow People - S1E8 - Thanatos

The Waverider has crossed us over to a new reality. One where the Tomorrow People, with telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation abilities, are on the run from the government run ULTRA organization. In a more lighthearted 80's reminiscent episode, Stephen embraces his inner Michael J Fox and becomes a star basketball player for a few days. Uncle Jed is unhappy Stephen's using his powers for fun, so he slaps a D-Chip bracelet on his wrist that nulifies his powers to teach him a lesson.   Meanwhile, Cara, John, and Russell attempt to track down a serial rapist who has a clever way of disposing of his victims should they become troublesome. After some failed attempts to capture him, Stephen deduces where he is and tries to capture him alone, and without powers, but is quickly outmatched. Thankfully, Cara and John show up to rescue him, but not before his father appears to him while he's unconscious! This is it fellow mutants! The X-Men '97 season one finale! What a season, what a finish. They threw all they could into this 47min finale, and it was epic. Can the team stop Bastion and his Prime Sentinels? Will they come together again to figure out a way? The sky is literally falling as Asteroid M crashes down to create an extinction level event, wiping out all life on Earth and the X-Men are struggling to stop it. But Jean Grey has one last move to make....Phoenix! But what they didn't realize is that the US government wouldn't wait, and they launch a cluster of nuclear missiles right at them! The gravity core is destroyed, and upon its implosion, the team disappears into time, leaving behind a world without the X-Men. TL287 - X-Men '97 - S1E10 - Tolerance is Extinction Part 3

The Waverider has crossed us over to a new reality. One where the Tomorrow People, with telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation abilities, are on the run from the government run ULTRA organization. It's a flashback episode where we learn about Russell's past as a concert pianist. He has a complicated relationship with his parents. In the present day, Russell finds out his dad has passed away and insists on going across the country to the funeral. John goes with him to make sure he stays out of trouble. Unfortunately, Russell always seems to find it with his affinity for drinking and socializing. John tries to help him out and they end up getting detained after a true Legends style bar fight. Fortunately, John talks his way out of the situation and they go to the funeral where Russell performs a moving piano piece at his father's memorial. Meanwhile, Cara and Stephen track down a breakout named Piper who turns out to be Darcy's sister. Stephen arranges a meeting for the two of them that goes horribly wrong for Darcy. Later after it all went down, Stephen seeks Cara's company for comfort. Just like any good movie trilogy, the middle chapter is when the bad guys win...and well, nothing seems to go right for the good guys in this one, as we get the epic penultimate episode of X-Men '97! Going to levels animation has rarely gone on network tv, we face some serious repercussions for all that has happened, and emotions are flying high and no one is holding back any longer. Magneto has had enough, and a few of our team join him as the world is about to die. It's all out war and no one is the winner. How will they all recover after these events?
