Avra Emin ist In Kurdistan (syrisch besetzte Region) geboren. Aufgrund der Lebensgefahr als unterdrückte Kurd*innen sind ihre Eltern mit ihr als Kind nach Deutschland gekommen.
Als politische Geflüchtete waren sie monatelang unterwegs, bis sie in Deutschland ankamen und blieben.
Seit ihrer Kindheit war Avra schon mit auf Menschenrechtsdemos unterwegs und in Stuttgart als junger Teenager schon gesellschafts-politisch aktiv.
Später studierte sie Soziale Arbeit und arbeitet seitdem überwiegend in der Demokratiebildung an Schulen.
Ehrenamtlich ist sie seit ihrer frühen Jugend sehr aktiv.
So ist sie beispielsweise Vorstandsvorsitzende der Kurdischen Gemeinde Stuttgart.
Außerdem arbeitet sie seit mehr als drei Jahren mit der NGO Free Yezidi Foundation, in dem sie zusammen mit Anwält*inneen Überlebende des Genozids an den Êzîden im Jahr 2014 interviewte, um die einzelnen IS-Täter vor internationales Gericht zu bringen.
Marina Prados ist eine spanische Autorin, Regisseurin und Produzentin, die in Berlin lebt. Nach ihrem Schauspielstudium an der Staatlichen Akademie für Schauspielkunst in Barcelona zog Marina 2016 nach Berlin, um ihre Karriere als Regisseurin an Theatern wie dem Maxim Gorki und der Volksbühne fortzusetzen. Kurz darauf begann sie, mit ihrer Frau Paula Knüpling zusammenzuarbeiten, und gemeinsam schrieben, inszenierten und produzierten sie ihren Debütspielfilm "LADYBITCH", der auf verschiedenen Festivals gezeigt wurde und Preise wie "Bester Spielfilm" bei Achtung Berlin und der TeleVisionale sowie "Bester Spielfilm mit gesellschaftlicher Relevanz" beim Max Ophüls Preis erhielt. Marina betreibt außerdem gemeinsam mit Paula die Gen-Z Produktionsfirma "Ladybitches". Diese ist aus dem Wunsch heraus entstanden, queere, migrantische und feministische Filme zu produzieren.

Zara Zandieh ist eine in Berlin geborene Regisseur:in und Filmemacher:in.
In den Geschichten von Zaras Projekten stehen queere postmigrantische und anders marginalisierte Figuren im Fokus. Sie sind vielschichtig, divers, emotional tief und in ihren Widersprüchen sehr liebevoll erzählt. Inspiriert von Erzähl- und Filmsprachen unter anderem des iranischen Arthouse-Kinos sowie der queeren Popkultur, bewegt sich Zara in eigenen Arbeiten auch in Zwischenräumen von Genres und Styles.
Zaras Kurzfilme und Video-Installationen wurden bei verschiedenen internationalen Filmfestivals wie z.B. den Internationalen Kurzfilmtagen Oberhausen, der Berlinale Forum, HKW, Berlin Art Week gezeigt und mit Preisen ausgezeichnet.
Themen der Diskussion waren unter anderem Zaras kreative Arbeit im Bereich postmigrantische Kunst und der Bedeutung von "Geduld" in der Filmbranche.

Anna Dushime ist in Ruanda geboren, 1994 im Alter von fünf Jahren mit ihrer Mutter und ihren Schwestern vor dem Völkermord in Ruanda geflohen und mit zehn Jahren nach Deutschland migriert. Bevor sie nach Deutschland kam, lebte sie in Großbritannien, wo sie auch die Schule begann.
Sie studierte internationales Marketing in den Niederlanden und Ungarn und schloss dieses Studium 2012 ab. In der Folge arbeitete sie unter anderem für Researchgate und als Redakteurin für BuzzFeed, bevor sie 2019 zu Steinberger Silberstein GmbH wechselte.
In unserem aktuellen TLNT.TALK.BERLIN X haben wir mit ihr über ihre Arbeit als Redaktionsleiterin, Podcasterin und Moderatorin gesprochen.
Chun Mei Tan ist gebürtige Niederländerin mit asiatischem Hintergrund. Sie ist ausgebildete Schauspielerin (Diplom, Mozarteum Salzburg), Casting-Agentin (ZDF), Schauspielcoach, systemische Beraterin und Coach sowie Referentin. Seit 2009 leitet sie ihre eigene Schauspiel-Agentur (Goldbaum Management) und ist langjähriges Mitglied bei WIFT Germany und Pro Quote Film e.V. sowie aktuell im Gesamtvorstand der Deutschen Akademie für Fernsehen tätig. Außerdem gibt sie seit vielen Jahren Masterclasses, Sensibilisierungsworkshops, Seminare und Coachings zu den Themen Intersektionalität und Diversität, Antirassismus und Unconscious Bias, u.a. bei actors4business und für die Deutsche Fernsehakademie.

Emre Celik (they/he) ist ein mehrfach ausgezeichneter Anti-Diskriminierungsexperte, der ein innovatives Anti-Diskriminierungs-Ökosystem eingeführt hat, um Diskriminierung zu bekämpfen. Im Rahmen dieses Vorhabens gründete er 2022 die NGO @wespeakyoudonate eine Plattform, die NGOs mit Unternehmen verbindet.
Bis 2023 hat Emre insgesamt 40.000€ aus Vorträgen gesammelt und alle Erlöse zur Unterstützung deutscher LGBTQIA+ NGOs verwendet.
Ein weiterer wichtiger Bestandteil seiner Initiative ist das Startup Occtopus, das einen neuen Ansatz zur Herausforderung unbewusster Vorurteile, sowie zur Konfrontation mit schädlichen Stereotypen bei Kindern vorstellt.
Neben seiner Rolle als Antidiskriminierungsexperte ist Emre außerdem als Ermittler bei Google tätig, wo er sich für die Bekämpfung von sexueller Belästigung, Diskriminierung und Racheaktionen einsetzt.

Susan Zare ist freie Moderatorin und Journalistin. Im Hörfunk arbeitet sie vor allem für den Deutschlandfunk.⠀
Die Deutsch-Iranerin wuchs im Saarland auf und studierte in Köln Musikwissenschaften, Iranistik, und absolvierte ein journalistisches Hörfunk- und Moderationsvolontariat. Ihr Fokus liegt auf gesellschaftspolitischen und interkulturelle Themen, authentischen Dialogen, aber auch in der konzeptionellen Beratung von digitalen und analogen Veranstaltungen. Außerdem setzt sich als Journalistin für die Situation im Iran ein.
In unserem aktuellen TLNT.TALK.BERLIN hat sie uns unter anderem verraten, warum es wichtig ist auch mal ins "kalte Wasser" zu springen.

Süheyla Ünlü, gebürtige Berlinerin, hat von 2014 bis 2018 Schauspiel an der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover studiert. Anschließend war sie vier Jahre lang als Ensemblemitglied am Staatstheater Nürnberg engagiert und ist seit September 2022 als freischaffende Schauspielerin tätig.
Im Bereich Film hatte Süheyla das große Glück, bei der beliebten Serie "Merz gegen Merz" mitzuwirken, in der Annette Frier und Christoph Maria Herbst die Hauptrollen spielen. Sie ist auch in der vierten Staffel dabei, die am 29. September 2023 um 20:15 Uhr im ZDF ausgestrahlt wird. Die gesamte Serie kann übrigens auch in der ZDF Mediathek angesehen werden.

Kurz nach dem Abschluss 2015 trat Hassandra in zahlreichen Theaterproduktionen und Filmen auf und arbeitete mit bekannten libanesischen Theaterregisseur*innen wie Sahar Assaf und Lina Abyad zusammen. Queen of Virginity beschäftigt sich insbesondere mit den Themen Heimat, Post-Migration sowie queer archiving und gründete Adira Party und Critical Queer Solidarity mit und gewann bei Mx. Kotti 2019. In unserem aktuellen TLNT.TALK.BERLIN X QUEEN OF VIRGINITY sprechen wir unter anderem über die Herausforderungen in der Kunstszene und warum es wichtig ist, gerade als selbstständige Person, auch mal Pausen beruflichen, als auch privaten Leben zu machen.
