Welcome back to the Talking Lead Show & Happy 4th of July Lead Heads!  This Independence Day week our guest is Jansen Jones, President, of Freedom Munitions.  As you may recall Jansen joined us a few episodes back (TLP 199 Vol 3 NRAAM Freedom Munitions, Do All Outdoors & NAA) and talked about him and Chad Enos (Kel-Tec) scheduling a Bear hunt in Idaho.

Having been on more than a dozen hunts makes him a great resource to learn about this type of Big Game Hunting.  He tells us about the different types of hunts that can be done: Bear Over Bait; Spot & Stock; Bears with Hounds; Trap.  In addition to explaining these different ways to hunt Bears, he also talks about the gear needed for each.  The guys discuss safety concerns, terrain, how to bait, the differences between Grizzly Bears vs Black Bears, effective ammo and much more!
