TMCC Welcomes Dr. Przemyslaw Osiewicz

Dr. Oseiwicz is a visiting scholar from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Undoubtedly, Iran is one of the most influential states in the Middle East Region. Its high political, cultural, as well as economic potential is undisputable, at least at the regional level. Yet the question is whether Iran can be classified as one of the emerging world powers or not. Can Iran make the cut to join the new and rising global powers? Can Iran elevate itself from its regional power position in the Middle East or is its isolation too strong? Dr. Przemyslaw Osiewicz addresses the country's challenges of development and geopolitical isolation as part of TMCC's International Education Week celebration. International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
