Retired Brigadier General Joe Shaefer is a United States Air Force veteran with extensive knowledge and interest in the arctic region. General Shaefer talks about the current geopolitical situation developing the arctic region and how the United States may approach future relations with Russia and China.

David Feather is the Senior Director of Program Integration, Mission Support and Test Services at the Nevada National Security Site. Mr. Feather's presentation deals with nuclear weapons, nuclear testing and dealing with America's aging nuclear arsenal.

Robert Carlin is a Visiting Fellow at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation. Mr. Carlin has visited North Korea over 30 times and his discussion centers around the perils of misreading North Korea's government.

The TMCC Library Committee hosts its annual campus community poetry reading event where students, faculty and staff are invited to read self-penned poems, one of their favorite poems, or listen to others read.
