TML194: How To Take Swift Action After A Conference with Bill Griggs
Taking action much less swift action after a conference is a challenge in and of itself.
Most times, it’s not that you don’t have good intentions, it’s that once you have settled into your routine once again, life gets in the way.
Do you find that to be true as well?
I know that I’ve done that on many occasions. As a matter of fact I have some unopened boxes and books that I had good intention of consuming once I returned home but never did.
What I have found out is that if you are able to capture one or two things write it down, you’ll have a better chance of following through. Stacking everything together, makes it more challenging.
In this episode, you’ll hear Bill Griggs and I brainstorm some strategies as how to increase your chance of taking action after a conference.
We wove these strategies throughout the interview so I suggest taking some notes or putting the player on pause at the points you want to digest the ideas shared.
We recorded this episode while we were at the conference. It was called Podcast Movement. It was held in Chicago. There were about 1500 people (podcasters and aspiring podcasters) in attendance.
