So many people get stuck in life because of this one phrase that paralyzes them: it’s too late. I’m so glad that I found out early enough that is was not too late to create an exit strategy from my 9-5 to doing what I truly love to do.
Imagine living with that thought nagging you night and day. Whenever some thing crosses your path that makes your heart leaps because it fascinates you, immediately the joy is short-lived because of the thought of it being too late.
If I had to live my life that way, I probably would go crazy.
But here’s the thing: I used to live my life that way up until recent years. I sometimes wish I had come to this realization earlier. However, I know nothing happens before it’s time and maybe I wasn’t ready to embrace that thought.
One of the things I wished I knew after having the epiphany that it wasn’t too late to create an exit strategy is what our guest – Ellory Wells, shares in this episode.
It’s one thing to now know it isn’t too late, but having a strategy to follow through is very important. I didn’t have a clear strategy, and I had to fumble my way from the very get go. Thanks to the help of coaches, mentors and books, I was able to get going over time. I’m still at it.
In this episode you’ll hear Ellory talk about how his new book – The Exit Strategy – outlines practical ways to navigate your way from where you are to where you want to be.
This book is like a manual; a guide. Ellory outlines eight strategy or steps that will take you to your destination.
Make sure you have a pen and paper in hand to take some notes. Also, get yourself a copy of his book here.
Ellory also shared some case studies of people who have used his strategies successfully. He also shared ideas of how and where you could start.
