At what point in your life would you consider making changes in your work? This is one of the questions that so many people know they need to entertain, but for one reason or another, they shift away from doing so.

Why is it so hard for some people who know they need to make a change at work, in certain relationships, in clothing and other areas of their lives, to do so?

My quickest guest is that they are not ready or willing to pay the immediate price tag. It will cost them something that in their minds is not worth it especially right now.

I find that with me, I go through several “takes” on trying to figure out when should I make a change and do I really have to.

This is where I’m at with my podcast – The Midlife Launch.

It’s been over 2 years now that I have been cranking away at it. I’ve done many interviews and solo shows. I have also gone through name changes for the show.

In all of this, I have noticed a very slow growth. One of the reasons I would attribute to that is probably some people do not relate to the word Midlife.

I remember speaking to someone from the UK who said they do not use that word. They are used to hearing middle age instead. Sometimes we take something like this for granted.

Anyway, having struggled with the show gaining traction and the numbers fluctuating greatly, I knew it was time to do something about it.

In this episode, I share what my behind-the-scene conversation I had with myself about this matter. You will also hear the conclusion I came to and why.
