Aaron Baker is a past motocross racer who suffered a spinal chord injury in 1999, when he crashed while out practicing at a test track, breaking his neck. Life would change as he instantly would know it. Hearing his neck snap, Aaron knew that his journey in life was just beginning. A near death experience unbeknownst to him at the time, played a huge integral role in him being here today. He’s battled through the ups and owns, the dark thoughts and times, and out of a need for necessity, he’s created a facility where those suffering from spinal chord injuries, can come and bridge the gap between the hospital discharging you and your insurance carriers coverage. Through this journey, Aaron has found happiness like you can’t believe, through cycling, he trained for the para-olympics but as fate would have it, he would not be able to make it to, again, having documented his journey with film, he was sitting on a ton of footage and after teaming up with his friend, was able to put together this amazingly inspiring, uplifting documentary featured on Netflix called Coming To My Senses.
