On this episode of the podcast, my long time good friend, Adam Barker comes on to talk about Fuel TV’s M80 series, which he created and produced for six seasons. I met Adam way back in his Fresno Smooth days when he came out to Reche Canyon to film with Jeff Emig and the Albrecht’s. Since then, we filmed every year for some project Adam had or a vision I was trying to bring to life. We both were in our prime, from starting out to becoming a veteran in our own rights. We talked a lot about his time working for Fuel TV on M80, some of the cool riders he witnessed come up and win gold medals at X Games, like Jeremy Lusk, who came from digging ditches literally to winning the premier event in our sport, X Games. Sadly Jeremy passed shortly after when a seat grab flip went wrong in Costa Rica. Unbeknownst to me, Adam shared a really cool story about Lusk and how he called out three main goals he had and how Adam was at each of those milestone moments to accomplish them.
