The "Big, Beautiful Bill" surprisingly just passed the Senate. The vote ended in a tie, which was broken 51-50 when Vice President Vance cast the deciding vote in favor of the measure. It now returns to the House for "reconciliation" to address the differences between the two versions. It's anybody's guess if they will reconcile the two.

• Today, the Senate rejected a measure to strip Medicaid payments for illegal immigrants as part of the "Big, Beautiful Bill. It's uncanny to believe lawmakers supported the continuation of the federal government illegally enrolling illegal aliens in Medicaid at the expense of American taxpayers, BILLIONS of dollars annually. They're criminals for being here illegally, and there's no legal basis for them to be here, let alone to receive public benefits.
• What is legally supposed to happen in this circumstance? The Constitution and Rule of Law dictate that those here without going through the legal immigration process are to be immediately deported.
