After a long hiatus, we are finally back! Billy and Yates tip off the season by dissecting their favorite teams and the many storylines that are associated with them. Also, the guys sound off on the latest NBA rule change and you may be surprised by what is said... 

The Lakers got Russell Westbrook to come to LA and play alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Will that work? When will the 76ers trade Ben Simmons, and what will they receive in return for him? Davion Mitchell went Top 10 in the draft this year, how did he get here? Houston was the biggest winner in the NBA draft this year.  

The Milwaukee Bucks are 2021 NBA Champions and Giannis Antetomkompo had an unbelievably historic performance in their close-out game 6. Due to that great performance, should Giannis and the Bucks be looked at as a Dynasty team, or was this a case of right place at the right time? Who was the cause of the Suns falling sky, was it Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, or Devin Booker? IS Khris Middleton a top 20-25 NBA player? Is Devin Booker a Top 5 SG? 

We are in the midst of the NBA Finals and we try to figure out if Giannis can bring the Bucks back from the dead and if Devin Booker and the Suns can get back on track and end the Bucks season. Also, why does Giannis not get the credit that other stars get when they have a great performance? In other news, the USA Men's National basketball team seems to be struggling out the gate and many people are trying to put the blame on Kevin Durant and we are trying to figure out why? 

This week, the NBA Finals is under way and the Point God, Chris Paul, is having a hell of a playoff run. The Bucks are wounded, but could that bring the most out of a particular player. Olympics says there will be no fans at this year's games and the US won't have their fastest female sprinter either. 

There was litany of respect that was given in this episode but y'all need to to give your own... Scottie Pippen is picking at old scabs by calling the great Phil Jackson racist out of nowhere. Paul George is playing at an elite level and could finally start to fill the shoes of the nickname "Playoff P." Clearly Devin Booker is just Devin Booker and not Kobe, glad we all could come back down to earth. Sydney Mclaughlin and Athing Mu stole the show of the Track & Field Olympic Trials, so we gave them their flowers. 

There was a long discussion this week on how and why the Philadelphia 76ers folded their season like origami, even though they gave themselves the easiest route to get to the Finals. James Harden and KD did as much as they could to try and propel the Nets past the Bucks but it just wasn't enough. Also, the league is making rule changes to stop players like Harden and Trae Young from changing their shot angle to draw fouls. Lastly, we highlight the stars of the Track & Field Olympic trials.     

This week, we try to recap the NBA playoffs by discussing the Sixers and Hawks series and how Joel Embiid may be on his last leg. Nets keep losing warriors to go to battle with and what's going to be the outcome of this Jazz Clippers series?

This week we discuss the polarizing topic of mental health in sports and how its changing the thought process of pro athletes like Naomi Osaka. The NBA playoffs are in full swing and they guys break down their thoughts on why playoff hoops is completely different than the regular season. Also, with the uptick of fans being allowed back in arenas many fans are acting privileged and entitled by assuming they can treat players any which way. The guys have strong feelings about their behavior.  

This week we have a special guest on the Pod, Terrika Foster, Producer of the ESPN Podcast 'Around the Rim' so she joined us to discuss a bevy of topics. Terrika shared her experience giving away WNBA league passes on twitter and how that movement was fulfilling for her aan the effect it will have on the league going forward. We touched on many more WNBA story lines as well as breaking down our personal--ethnic--rules to playing spades and uno.
