SYNOPSIS:

It’s the morning after Maddie and David have slept together, and each has a different perspective on the evening. While David is in a wonderful mood thinking that he’s finally got Maddie in his grasp, she wants to pretend that “last night never happened.” Maddie suggests they make “a pact” that their sleeping together not only did “not happen,” but will not happen again. David refuses her “pact,” and is hurt. Ultimately, they end up making love again . . and again throughout the episode.

Meanwhile, a wealthy heiress, Margaret Kendall, approaches Blue Moon to prove that her boyfriend loves her and is not after her money. Margaret’s father disapproves of the relationship and is willing to do whatever it takes to stop it going any further to protect his assets. She wants to prove her father wrong.

Subsequently, her father is (seemingly) killed in a house fire and both his daughter and the boyfriend confess to the crime, both attempting to save the other from prosecution.
