The Book of Revelation is often considered an eschatological resource; however, it is primarily a revelation from Jesus, about Jesus, and to His church. While imprisoned for his faith, the apostle John was given seven letters addressed to seven churches in Asia Minor. In each letter, he affirms and exhorts each body, calling them to overcome their temptations and difficulties. Each letter was unique, but they all said, “To Him Who Overcomes.”  In this study, we will explore Revelation 1-3 and discover Jesus’ heart for His church.
