No, You're Not Dying

To Know or to Not Know, That is the Question

Listen Later

This week's episode kicks off with a harrowing tale of a snowy drive gone awry (wear your seatbelts, folks!), followed by another ~unfiltered thoughts~ segment on: protein coffee (gross), cybertrucks (ew), grocery store hauls (acceptable for Trader Joe's only), and self-checkout kiosks (hate).

Then, we're diving into the concept of not being okay with not knowing something. Have you ever nodded along, pretending to have watched a TV show someone is talking about, even though you hadn't? Like, why do we do that? Why not just say you haven't seen it?

We cover what drives people to act like they know things even if they don't, why we actually may have learned this behavior in the classroom, and how lying about knowing something can backfire (trust us, we have the stories to prove it).

We also discuss what to say when people try to embarrass you for not knowing how to do something, why asking questions is a win for everyone, the Taylor Swift cake pop interview, and why the way we say 'I don't know' matters.
