1 John 2 is the longest chapter of this book. Because there is so much to cover, we decided to study it in 2 episodes.
We first apologize for some echo (most of Dee's audio) in this episode. We had a technical difficulty, but didn't know it until after we recorded. We hope that it is not too distracting. We did get it corrected for the next episode.

Chapter 2 begins with one of John's reasons for writing his letter to Christians and further explains that keeping God's commandments is not something new, yet it is new because Jesus is now our Advocate.
This part of John's letter is so encouraging, as he reminds us that when we live in Christ’s light, there’s no cause to stumble. He emphasizes this by addressing 3 groups: little children, fathers, & young men.
