To make a short story long

“When you and I choose to believe a lie about ourselves, it’s one of these three lies we believe: I’m helpless. I’m worthless. I’m unlovable.” - Get out of your head, Jennie Allen

What is a rule of life and how can it point you to Jesus?

What does it mean to do good? How do we overcome when we grow weary in our faith? I talk about this and more in this episode!

Today I talk about our mission in life as Christians: sharing the good news of Jesus! Whatever stage of life you are in single, married, in high school or college - this should be our main focus.

In recent years there have been many incredible books that have talked about the harm of hustle and busy on our lives. But what if that is not your struggle? I think most of us have struggled with laziness at one time or another; in today’s episode I talk about how laziness (like busyness) is not God honoring.

I’m back! Do you struggle to spend time with God? Everyone has seasons where we have struggled with this but maybe your season has lasted years! In this episode I discuss what it means to love God, why we have such a hard time spending time with God, and what we can do about it!

In this episode I have a conversation with Justin, a mental health counselor, coworker, and friend. We get to hear a little bit about his life story and what led him to become a counselor. We also discuss mental health in this crazy season, weird youth group games, and how the gospel fits in it all.

In this episode I discuss seven things that have helped me with my mental health in this season. Abiding, being with people, journaling, focusing on others, and several other things that have been helpful during this time.

In the episode I talk about how to glorify God with our work. I talk about dependence, having integrity, and loving others. Here is the article that I mentioned and referenced: https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/how-to-glorify-god-at-work

Today I talk about gratitude. Why I think it’s important, how I practice it, and some specific things I’m grateful for in this season.
