  • If the Gospel Be Hid Poem (Parts 1 & 2)

In this episode, I share Parts 1 and 2 of a three-part poem inspired by the woman with the alabaster box—the woman whose quiet act of devotion became one of the most profound moments of worship in scripture. Through poetry, I reflect on her courage to draw near, her willingness to pour out what was precious, and the sacred exchange that took place at the feet of Jesus.  Parts 1 and 2 of this poem invite listeners into the atmosphere of that moment—where humility, love, and surrender meet divine recognition. As the poem unfolds, we begin to consider what it means to offer our own alabaster—our gifts, our stories, and our worship—without hesitation.

  • If the Gospel Be Hid

In this episode, we dive into the powerful narrative of the unnamed woman with the alabaster box from Luke 7:36-49. Through a stirring narrative poem, we explore her story of repentance, grace, and transformation. This intimate portrait brings to life her encounter with Jesus as she washes His feet with her tears and anoints Him with costly perfume. Her humble act of love and faith serves as a timeless reminder of forgiveness, redemption, and the beauty of grace. Join us as we reflect on themes of brokenness, courage, and the boundless mercy found in her story as she comes before the throne of grace to find mercy and help in the time of need according to Hebrews 4:16.
