To The Heights

JP Kuhlman and Matt Hedrick kick off another school year discussing new beginnings and new possibilities. 

God expects you to be a good steward of everything he has given, including your influence. He wants you to use your influence to help others. 

JP Kuhlman and Matt Hedrick interview Interim Principal Nicholas Pavgouzas about his vision for the future of Bishop Moore Catholic and his pastoral leadership style. Nick says he feels God is leading him to continue the path of excellence that was started at Bishop Moore by leaders who came before him while staying true to who we are at Bishop Moore, our charisms, and our mission. 

JP and Matt have a conversation about the significance of providing our mind, body, and soul with nourishing and beneficial things. They emphasize t hat it requires a conscious decision to take the first step and suggest practical ideas that we can use to nourish our souls every day.

JP and Matt share how they celebrated Easter with their families and the mini resurrections in our lives that bolster our faith and call us closer to Christ. 

JP Kuhlman and Matt Hedrick welcome guest Sister Kristi Bergman from the Sisters of the Pierced Heart of Jesus and Mary to the show. Sister shares how she was called to this vocation by asking "Lord, what did you make me for?"

Suffering in life is inevitable. JP and Matt discuss why God allows suffering. They share how suffering is redemptive when we join it to the cross and offer it up as a reparation for our sins, and, as the Body of Christ, we can offer our sufferings for our loved ones or anyone in need.

Matt Hedrick and JP Kuhlman reflect on how Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day have a lot in common. The key to a romantic relationship: communication, sacrifice, and love sound very familiar to prayer, fasting, and good works that are the hallmarks of Lent. Matt and JP share their stories of love and "sweet compromises" in marriage and provide some suggestions as to how to make this Lent stand apart.
