The guest mix this month is from a recent favourite of mine. He is based in Hikone, Japan, and runs the label “Hypnotic Room” along with another lad from Sydney. He has a string of great releases under 2 aliases, one that is more acid techno, and another that is more deep house. Every time I hear a mix of his, I am blown away by how he progresses, he seems to lull you into this false sense of thinking you are in for a chilled, deep house mix, but before you know it, you’re fist pumping to a massive acid bass line in your loungeroom by yourself. This guy is actually just so talented, and that’s why I am so excited to have him on the show this month. Presenting: Takashi Watanabe/DJ Warp.
