Today I watched Poltergeist directed by Gil Kenan and starring Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt and Kennedi Clements. I loved it! I know that many people did not, and as with all remakes there will be the vocal “they’ve ruined it” camp. The original still exists, it has neither been ruined nor made better by any movie that was made after it! I loved both the original and the remake (and Poltergeist III) and that’s just fine! Okay, I hope you enjoy the film and my review of it!

Today I watched Poltergeist II: The Other Side directed by Brian Gibson and starring JoBeth Williams, Craig T. Nelson and Heather O’Rourke. It’s a decent watch, maybe slightly scarier than the first, but I’d only recommend it as part of a marathon of some kind.

Today I watched Poltergeist III directed by Gary Sherman and starring Heather O’Rourke, Tom Skerritt and Nancy Allen. This is my favorite of the trilogy, mostly due to smoke and mirrors.

Today I watched Mad Max, Mad Max 2, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and Mad Max: Fury Road! They’re all awesome, but if I had to rank them from least to most favorite… 3, 1, 2, 4. Fury Road is my new favorite action film. Some spoilers within, but only if you consider hair length vital to your enjoyment of the story!
