This development makes Google a stronger competitor against rivals like Microsoft, although it comes with a $2 monthly subscription increase per user. Additionally, Google's collaboration with The Associated Press aims to improve the Gemini chatbot's accuracy by integrating real-time news updates, addressing concerns about misinformation and data privacy.
New U.S. export controls on semiconductor technology aim to restrict China's access to advanced chips, drawing criticism for their quick implementation and possible economic fallout. These measures could disrupt global supply chains, slow AI innovation, and affect the revenue of major U.S. tech companies.
