In a twist of programming, Tonya interviews Dave! The interview stems from a conversation they had on Sunday afternoon about what Dave preached on that Sunday. Tonya read Matthew 5:21-26 to Dave on the couch in their living room, and especially had questions about verse 22. It was such a good conversation that they decided to do a podcast on it. Enjoy listening to a conversation between a pastor and his wife about the Bible.

Dave explores the question, "What does it mean to worship God in spirit and truth?'
Jesus challenges the people back in the day and to us today, in John 4, to become true worshippers. Dave looks at three main ideas. We worship God truthfully, Biblically, and Christocentrically.

What is your BIG ASK? Nehemiah identified a problem, and instead of merely complaining about it, he made a decision to take action. (Check out Nehemiah 1-2) He prayed over it and asked for God's guidance. He prepared to ask for help from the most powerful man in the world, who, by the way, could execute him if he felt the request was inappropriate.
Nehemiah waited for God's leading, prepared with an organized plan, and then made a big ask. And here is the great part; God blessed him.
