The Escapists 2 is now live on Xbox Game Pass for console. It’s a top-down prison escape sandbox that will test your creativity across 10 different prison levels. Best of all, you can play with up to 3 friends in local or online drop-in multiplayer.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is here. You’ll play through the first season of the Netflix series, taking the side of either Steve Murphy as the DEA or El Patron in the cartel. 

Next, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is out now and brings sniper gameplay set in harsh Siberian environments. With hundreds of ways to take down targets, you can redeploy on missions again and again. 

Finally, acclaimed turn-based strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is now available. The Xbox One launch also brings 4 pieces of additional content, which add four new civilizations, leaders, and scenarios. 

This has also been a huge week for Xbox Game Pass, adding Darksiders 3 for Console and PC, Vambrace: Cold Soul for Console and PC, Life is Strange 2: Episode 4 for Console, The Escapists 2 for console, Subnautica for PC and The Red Strings Club for PC.

Today we have two new additions to two great games. First, Age of Wonders Planetfall is getting its first expansion, Revelations. The expansion adds Heritor Secret Technology, campaign missions, location mechanics, and more. 

Also available is the final DLC for We Happy Few, titled We All Fall Down. You’ll play as Victoria Byng, and armed with a whip and a new dart gun, you’ll explore new paths across rooftops and watch as Wellington Wells finally falls apart.

Fans of the classic role-playing game Munchkin will be excited to hear that Munchkin: Quacked Quest is out now, with same-day launch to Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC. You can play local multiplayer with up to 4 players, and with Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud saves you can play your save on PC or console. 

Also, if you watched X019 and thought West of Dead looked like fun, it’s in open beta now through November 25th and you can play for free. It’s a dark western twin stick shooter voiced by Ron Perlman. The game will fully launch in 2020 on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.

The November Xbox Update began rolling out last week, bringing some great new features to your Xbox One. First up, you can now control your Xbox One with Google Assistant. This means you can turn your console on or off, launch games, apps, or even tell your Xbox One to “record that.” 

Also included in the update is the full launch of modern gamertags, which allow players tons of new ways to represent themselves on Xbox services. 

Finally, new Xbox Text Filters allow you to choose automated text filtering for messages across Xbox Live. You can set your preferences to Friendly, Medium, Mature, or Unfiltered.

Inside Xbox took place yesterday and here are just a few highlights: from Xbox Game Studios we got our first look at new games including Everwild from Rare, Grounded from Obsidian, and Tell Me Why from DONTNOD. Ninja Theory shared that upcoming brawler Bleeding Edge will launch March 24, 2020, inXile announced that Wasteland 3 will launch May 19, 2020, and Halo Reach will be added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection on December 3rd. Also 9 titles from Final Fantasy will be joining Xbox Game Pass in 2020, in addition to 2 Kingdom Hearts titles coming to Xbox One in 2020.
