French company Engie has seen its gas deliveries reduced since Russian energy firm Gazprom has slashed supplies. Is it a political measure? Of course, it is. Three weeks before the election, the New York Post revealed the sordid content of Hunter Biden’s laptop, showing compromising photos of the presidential candidate’s son and his questionable business dealings implicating his father. This shows us how easily tech firms and mainstream media can undermine democracy. Just to clarify. The FBI visited Zuckerberg in 2020, and they received the laptop in 2019. So, the FBI already knew about the content of the laptop when they talked to Zuckerberg.

It’s official. From October households in Great Britain will face a gigantic leap in energy bills after Ofgem raised the energy price cap to £3,549 a year.  People are already struggling with the soaring inflation, and now this? Really? Why not force companies to stop the increase? Why not have an emergency meeting all the European leaders and find a solution to this insanity? Of course, they meet to send billions in weapons to Ukraine, but God saves them from meeting to save Europeans from companies squeezing the population. This is not about war, this is about greed.

German authorities have implemented a series of measures to save energy in the country, anticipating a possible cut in gas supply from Russia. From September, just a week ahead, public buildings, but no hospitals, will be heated to a maximum of 19 Celsius degrees, and the heating may be turned off completely in entrances, corridors, and foyers. Public monuments and buildings won’t be lit up for aesthetic reasons, including the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. At the same time, business would not be allowed to keep their shops illuminated at night.

A humanitarian crisis might be the consequence of the soaring energy bills in the UK unless the government takes action, and I mean, right away. According to experts, freezing gas and electricity prices over the next winters would cost the UK roughly £100bn, more than it spent paying millions of people’s salaries during the pandemic. Seriously? Instead of controlling the costs, the solution is to pay companies? Why not reach an international agreement and force corporations to reduce their high prices?

British Gas has announced it will donate 10% of its profits to help its poorest customers manage rising gas and electricity bills for the duration of the energy crisis. It seems that Centrica, British Gas owner, will give money to the impoverished to help them pay the energy bill generated by Centrica. It’s like “I’m giving you some cash so you can pay me back.” Why not reduce the price by 10% instead? Wouldn’t it be better for people?

Germany is at the forefront of green energy use with its new and first ever rail line entirely run on hydrogen-powered trains. From this Wednesday, fourteen trains powered by hydrogen will move on the route in Bremervörde, in Lower Saxony.
