CYNTHIA TANNER: The main thing we put our energy into on the fourth of July... is keeping our dogs from loosing their minds. We've done this for decades now. Poor dogs.

CYNTHIA TANNER: Keeping the dogs cool is a challenge. Shade and wind are outside our control. Water is just about our only tool.

CYNTHIA TANNER: This is the time the green leafy herbs need some pampering, and attention. Apparently they need to be encouraged to branch out... even as tender infants.

CYNTHIA TANNER: There are people who have struggled more through the Pandemic. Because the struggle more through our typical routines, everyday.

JORDAN TANNER: I like learning new things. What I don't like is people telling me that they know, is the one and only, right way. And, they're going to convert me!

JORDAN TANNER: People are always critiquing. Everyone has an opinion. Which of these opinionated people is going to actually pitch in?

CYNTHIA TANNER: Another sunny experience is coming our way. It's great to have friends who are adventurous, but don't have anything to prove athletically. We get outside for pure fun.

CYNTHIA TANNER: Picnics and camping are alike as far as recreation vs. Leaving your chores at home. The food, and the cleaning up are something we take along.

JORDAN TANNER: Ah, a day off. Back into nature, for a sailing expedition. I love the sound of the water... but, not the surf.
