“If Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be a 12-hour news story,” the vice-president said during the discussion. “The idea that it would have taken down a presidency is crazy.”

No one is a bigger fan of Jalen Brunson than his parents, Sandra and Rick Brunson.
The couple welcomed their son on Aug. 31, 1996, in New Jersey, two years before Rick joined the New York Knicks as a point guard. Both of his parents played college sports at Temple University, where they met.
Brunson was taught the importance of discipline and dedication from a young age. Since he was a kid, his parents emphasized the quote, "The magic is in the work," which became his mantra.
"They had it on the wall, in my mirror when I woke up," Brunson told ESPN in April 2023 of the words his parents instilled in him as a young athlete. "They had it in my lunch bag for school. They just made sure I saw that quote."

After the possible announcement of opinions this morning, the justices will meet in a private conference to discuss cases and vote on petitions for review. Orders from today’s conference are expected on Monday at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Last week, in response to requests from Danco Laboratories and GenBioPro, Justice Samuel Alito temporarily paused a ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit reinstating the requirement that the abortion pill mifepristone be dispensed only in person. That pause will expire today at 5 p.m. EDT, so the court is expected to act soon.

Iran has condemned the air strikes by the United States on its missile, drone and radar facilities, adding that its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has responded by “targeting” the US military locations in the region.
The statement by the Iranian foreign ministry came after the US carried out strikes on what Washington said was a response to an Iranian drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

But Miller also seemed fixated on the remaining cases being decided, including whether the administration can deny automatic citizenship to immigrants' children who were born in the U.S., which the 14th Amendment has guaranteed since 1868.
