According to data from a Generation Lab survey, young adults in the United States overwhelmingly blame President Donald Trump and corporate greed for current economic conditions.
The survey revealed that 8 in 10 young people view the economy as bad or terrible, with their primary blame assigned to specific targets:
- Donald Trump: 41% of respondents assign the most blame to the President for his handling of inflation and the cost of living.
- Corporate Greed: 31% point to large companies and corporate greed as the primary drivers of financial strain.
