Good morning, Boston! Here's your chilly winter weather update for today.

Bundle up, folks, because we're looking at a day that's about as warm as a frozen pizza. Temperatures will struggle to climb near 26 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds that'll make you want to stay indoors. Expect west winds blowing at 14 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts up to 34 miles per hour that'll definitely nip at your nose.

Tonight, we've got a slight chance of snow showers after midnight. The mercury will drop to around 15 degrees Fahrenheit, with those persistent west winds still hanging around at about 17 miles per hour.

Thursday brings a similar story - a tiny possibility of snow showers before 4 pm, but mostly sunny skies with a high near 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Northwest winds will be whipping at 16 to 18 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching 38 miles per hour.

The weekend looks like a bit of a mixed bag. Saturday has a 50 percent chance of snow after 7 am, with temperatures hovering near 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday will be sunny and slightly warmer, reaching around 37 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next week starts off mild and mostly sunny, with temperatures climbing to the mid 30s.

Pro tip: layers are your best friend right now. Think of yourself as a human onion - the more layers, the better you'll handle this winter chill.
