Good morning, Boston! This is your weather update for today, brought to you with a chilly twist.
Bundle up, because we're looking at a freezing start to the day. Today will be sunny but crisp, with temperatures barely climbing to a high near 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Those west winds are going to be pretty spirited, blowing between 14 to 17 miles per hour, with gusts that could reach up to 28 miles per hour. So definitely grab that heavy coat and maybe an extra layer!
Tonight, we're expecting mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping down to a bone-chilling 13 degrees Fahrenheit. The northwest wind will keep things interesting, ranging from 6 to 14 miles per hour.
Looking ahead to Monday, expect another sunny day with temperatures inching up slightly to around 31 degrees Fahrenheit. The northwest wind will be more gentle, hanging around 7 miles per hour.
Tuesday brings a delightful warm-up with temperatures reaching near 48 degrees Fahrenheit. Southwest winds will dance between 6 to 10 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 21 miles per hour.
Midweek gets interesting with rain likely on Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will climb to a mild 56 degrees Fahrenheit, with south winds between 7 to 14 miles per hour. By Wednesday night, we're looking at a full-on rainy scenario with 100 percent chance of precipitation.
Thursday continues the wet trend with rain likely before noon, temperatures around 57 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend looks a bit more mixed, with Friday bringing mostly sunny conditions and temperatures near 45 degrees Fahrenheit, and Saturday offering a slight chance of rain.
