Good morning, Boston! This is your weather whisperer coming in hot (well, actually quite cold) with today's forecast.
Bundle up, folks, because we're diving into a deep freeze! Today, expect increasing clouds with a high near 21 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind chill will make it feel like a chilly negative 1 degree, so break out those thick winter layers. Winds will be blowing from the west at 6 to 10 miles per hour.
Tonight, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies early on, then a gradual clearing. Temperatures will plummet to around 9 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chills near zero. Northwest winds will be light at 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings us some sunshine with a high near 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Again, bundle up as wind chills will dip to negative 2 degrees. Northwest winds will be steady at 6 to 8 miles per hour.
As we roll into Thursday, we'll see a slight warm-up with partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to near 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be light and then pick up to 5 to 9 miles per hour.
The weekend looks crisp and mostly sunny, with highs around 30 degrees Fahrenheit and light westerly winds. Sunday might be a bit more interesting with cloudy conditions and winds gusting up to 21 miles per hour.
For those planning ahead, next Monday looks partly sunny with temperatures near 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
