Good morning, Tampa Bay! This is your friendly neighborhood weather forecaster bringing you the scoop on our upcoming days.

Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has planned for us. Today, we're looking at a gorgeous sunny day with temperatures climbing to a delightful 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Those gentle winds will start calm and then shift to a light southwest breeze around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Perfect day to soak up some sunshine!

Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping to a cool 54 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will play nice, starting west northwest and then becoming completely calm as the evening settles in.

Moving to Thursday, we're in for mostly sunny conditions with a high near 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will again start calm and then transition to a southwest breeze between 5 to 8 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Now, things get interesting as we approach the weekend. Saturday brings sunshine and a high of 87 degrees Fahrenheit, with southeast winds ranging 8 to 13 miles per hour and potential gusts up to 20 miles per hour.

Sunday introduces a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers, with temperatures hitting around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. By Sunday night, we're looking at a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms after 2 am.

Monday continues the wet trend with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, temperatures cooling down to a high of 74 degrees Fahrenheit.
