Good morning, Tampa Bay! This is your weather update for Wednesday, January 22nd, coming to you with all the chilly details you need to know.
We've got a Cold Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up, folks! Overnight temperatures are going to dip down to around 40 degrees, with north winds blowing around 11 miles per hour and gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Expect some showers rolling through, with about an 80 percent chance of precipitation.
Moving into Wednesday, we're looking at showers likely before 8 in the morning. The high will barely reach 54 degrees, and wind chill values could feel as low as 34 degrees early on. Those north northeast winds will be hanging around at 8 to 10 miles per hour.
The rest of the week looks like a mixed bag. Thursday brings a 30 percent chance of showers, mostly between 7 am and 1 pm, with temperatures struggling to hit 52 degrees. Friday is looking sunnier, with a high near 55 degrees.
The weekend starts to warm up nicely. Saturday will be sunny and climbing to 59 degrees, and Sunday is looking even more pleasant with temperatures reaching up to 71 degrees.
Next week continues the warming trend, with Monday hitting 74 degrees and Tuesday looking mostly sunny at 73 degrees.
