In tonight's netcast I talk about the comedic series of events that lead to my blog going down last week. Then I talk about the lessons I learned and what I've done to make sure it doesn't happen again. Robert Scoble interviewed Shane and I a couple of weeks ago and I talk about that. I also mention a Windows patch you really should apply to your Internet facing SharePoint servers.

Tonight's netcast is done from the comfort of my basement. I talk about the February 2012 CU, SQL 2012 RTMing, and how to become a developer. And no, the first step is not "stop showering."

Hot off my Netcast filmed in San Francisco, this Netcast was filmed in San Antonio at Rackspace's headquarters, known as The Castle. I interview some more of my coworkers, and make one of their dreams come true. I even fit in some SharePoint content. I mention a tool that helps you configured blob caching and a blog post that demonstrates how to back up SQL databases with PowerShell. In the outtake reel we go down the slide and do some jousting.

In tonight's netcast I get to broadcast live from the San Francisco Rackspace office. This provides me with both better equipment and a crowd of ruffians amusing themselves in the background. Shane and I talk about SPTechCon and how to make ourselves better people. I also talk about December 2011 CU and a couple of potential problems with it.

In tonight's episode I break the news that I am now a Rackspace employee! I also tell two hysterical stories about how my blog has crashed in the last week. Rackspace really got a winner, didn't they? I then talk about a SharePoint security patch, and how great the first Iowa SharePoint User Group meeting was. Finally I give a status update on my Kindle book.

Tonight's netcast covers some weighty topics like migrating blogs from one SharePoint farm to another, some database cmdlets, and a way to make using the AutoSPInstaller even easier to use, if that's possible.

With the intimate setting of my hotel room, my guest Trevor and I discuss why I couldn't enable blob cache for a SharePoint Search Server instance. I also mention a document you can use to determine if your SQL instance has the necessary performance for SharePoint. I share a story on how I screwed up using Export-SPWeb, so you don't have to. Then I mention a great document that helps answer the question, "What is SharePoint?"

Tonight's episode is jam-packed with great information, mostly from other people's blogs. I talk about how to troubleshoot the Sandbox Solution service, understanding the Logging DB, account permissions and SharePoint account permissions.

Tonight's episode actually has some SharePoint content. I talk about a problem I encountered with service account permissions. Then I talk about a wrinkle in pointing your SharePoint servers at themselves. I also talk about a graceful way to bring your site down for maintenance. And since everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting to hear how my book's coming along, I give an update. I also mention a great way to help raise some money for charity.

In this episode I'm completely unprepared. I talk about some changes I'd like to make to this very netcast. I also talk a little more about my upcoming (hopefully) book. I also answer some questions from the peanut gallery.
