Todd Yelton is in his 22nd year at the helm of the Samford University soccer team, having propelled the Bulldogs to national prominence and an unprecedented nine-consecutive SoCon championships. He has 14 regular-season conference titles, seven NCAA Tournament appearances and six conference tournament championships, with an impressive career record of 304-140-60.
Coach Yelton is man of faith and perspective who's off the field impact parallels his on field success. In 2018, he helped open Shauna's House. Named in honor of his late wife, Shauna's House is a transitional orphans' home in Ukraine. We discuss the origin and mission of the project, as well as the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
