Writing/Direction: Honestly speaking, this is a perfect movie that reminds you of the good old Telugu movies we grew up watching. The writing is so good such that there is entertainment in each and every scene and there is not a single boring moment in the entire film. Writing is masterpiece for me. This is how you write and make a film anipinchindi.
Story analysis wise, its very simple. A woman due to the abandonment issues and trauma suffered a child wants some companionship after her mother dies and wants to get impregnated.
This storyline has been shown in many movies like Naruda Donaruda, Ante Sundaraniki, basically there have been movies stories like this and the problem has always been with the treatment of the movie. It’s either cringe max or full on double meaning comedy and it lacks emotional connectivity and entertainment.
This is where this movie succeeds. It has 0 cringe, full clean entertainment and by casting two incredible actors, the movie just flies by.
Naveen and Anushkha chemistry is very good and the conflicts and characterizations are perfect. To be honest romantic comedies work on two things: chemistry between the leads and entertainment. This movie has both in full doses.
Sidhhu character is so relatable because he’s basically an introvert and ammayi gives him hand when she helped him withe everything in pursuing his dreams and giving him confidence. Who wouldn’t fall for somebody. It’s natural and its relatable because I have been through that and trust me it does happen.
Entertainment part right from when Naveen entry scene, hospital scenes,. Abhinav gomatam scenes, finding out about new donor scenes. Especially when hospital scene he’s asked for a semen sample and he thinks it’s a large bottle, he says nenu manishina gurram na.
Emotional part is also superb. Jayasudha scenes, ending scenes, Anuksha confession scene, most of all there’s a scene between Naveen and Murali Sharma. It was heart touching because the father who always berates his son accepts that he wants to be a stand up comedian and is trying and then understands his son wants Anvitha. He tells him one thing naaku Nuvvu kavali Annav kaani, neeku nenu vunnanu ani cheppava? Velli thanu nammakani gelavadam kosam fight cheyyi.
Most heart touching dialogue is Okka Chinna request, repu neeku papa babu puttina taravatha vaadu nannu yevado ani adigithe yevariki yeliyani oka sperm donor Kakunda, value Ammani preminchina manishi ani cheppu.
And each and every character is very good.
Direction by mahesh Babu P is perfect. To make a movie without a single boring moment and entertain people for 2.5 hours in 2023 is an impossible task and like that director told, I have also become his fan. Outstanding direction and writing.
Climax felt a little dragged but I already loved the movie then Shankar Mahadevan song came and then it was icing on the cake. Goosebumps final song and been on repeat ever since.
It’s a feel good movie and just so well made. Full credit to the director and entire team for making such an entertaining movie.
When I walked out I felt very emotional because it made me believe that Telugu cinema is still alive and capable of making great movies. My big problem is why can;’t we do it week in week out? Why is it only only once in a while and every other week we sit and wonder why every movie is so badly made and where to go from here.

Context: Saw it on VHS and didn’t remember much, remember the songs they were so good especially Chitti Nadumune choosthunna. OVer the years just remember the movie name but the movie itself. This was another movie I watched during the lockdown and it seemed pointless and I could get a sense of Pawan Kalyan’s attempt at the screenplay but it just felt incomplete. That being said, PK has written screenplay for a film 3 times: Johnny, Gudumba and SGS. Among those 3 obviously Gudumba is the best of the lot. Movie was very funny and entertaining on rewatch but had some flaw

Context: Watched it on VHS back in the day and liked it. Was really entertaining, Remember watching Nine Nine video promo on Idlebrain.com. Became a fan I guess of Allu Arjun back then due to the acting, body and mainly dance. Ali track was hilarious and album is classic. Decided to watch it by random but I do like the movie. On the rewatch it was average I felt. It’s timepass. But it never bored you and was entertaining which is the main criteria for these movies currently. But very mixed feelings overall. That being said, hero characterization and romantic trick made me very uncomfortable and lot to say about it so let’s proceed.

Context: Watched it on VHS way back and don’t remember anything except the fact that Asin becomes a mute person. During the lockdown, made a Hariharan playlist and obviously my favorite song is Mona Mona Mona and his and Chakri’s combination was amazing, so many classics. Decided to give a rewatch randomly and not planned to watch all Puri Jagan movies in row but that’s how it happened. It was strictly average. 1st half really good, 2nd half dead sleep but overall timeless. Def doesnt feel like a typical Puri jagan movie this was the starting stage.

Interesting Facts:
I belong to Peda Kakani which is in the outskirts of Guntur. I did my graduation in JKC College in Guntur and post-graduation in Nagarjuna University. We have a photo studio and it was our business. I was interested in photography. I have also worked as a part-time reporter for Eenadu newspaper. I was planning to start a small scale industry in Guntur’s Auto Nagar. That is when my cousin Posani Krishna Murali suggested me to join films. I came to Hyderabad with him and he made me join in the direction department of Muthyala Subbaiah in 1997. I worked with him for films like Oka Chinna Maata, Gokulamlo Seetha, Pelli Chesukundam, Pavitra Prema, Annayya and Manasunna Maaraju.
Then I have prepared the story of Bhadra. After the release of Gangotri, I approached Allu Arvind to narrate Bhadra story by keeping Bunny as hero. I know Allu Arvind well because I have worked for Annayya. He liked the story, but told me that Bunny was doing Arya film. He made Bunny to listen to the story. Bunny liked it and he directly took me to Dil Raju. He made me narrate Bhadra story to Dil Raju and made Dil Raju give advance to me right away. We had initially considered Prabhas as hero. But Prabhas’s dates were locked for Chakram film for 8 months.
Then he narrated it to Raviteja and he accepted. Actually Raviteja had just signed Khatarnak in Amma Rajashekar direction but chose to work on Bhadra instead.
First choice for role of Raja was actor Raja himself, but they selected Deepak instead. November 14th, 2004 muhurtham at Annapurna Studios. Ramanaidu Garu and VV Vinayak Garu were the chief guests
Filming was done in Annapurna, Padmalaya, Ramanaidu, and RFC majority of the filming happened. 5 month and 80 working days
Budget was 5.5 crores. May 2nd audio launch Prabhas and Allu Arjun were the chief guests.
May 12th, 2005 it released with 100 prints.
First day it had superhit talk and people loved all the commercial elements the faction backdrop and the emotional love story.
Dil Raju 3rd consecutive blockbuster, Raviteja DSP combo Patrick after Venky and Khadgam,
Ran for 50 days in 2 centers in Guntur, collected more than Simhadri, Tagore, and Mass in final run apparently
Ran for 50 days in 90 centers and 100 days in 42 centers and collected 23 crores at the box office and became a blockbuster.

Interesting Facts and Context: trailer has no dialogues, its just music. Watched it in theaters on Christmas 2010 and it was houseful. Great experience. Back then it’s all about fights and this movie has 8 fights all of them are superb and it was very entertaining. Also listened to the album a lot and love it. Its a classic in my opinion, love all the songs except Ey Pillo Apple Oh. Rewatched it in 2020 and didnt give the same feeling. Felt just average and then rewatched it for the podcast again and gave same feeling but you’re never bored at any point which was great.
