Tom Dunne Musician, Composer, Performer

Tom Dunne is a man who has seen it all. Having studied music extensively and played throughout Europe. As well as having written music for both theatre and film. He now focuses his time on session playing on the local Dublin and Ireland music scene. His eclectic mix of styles ranging from Jazz, Traditional Irish to electronica. Makes him someone who isn't afraid to experiment with sound. Bringing his brand of music to the wider world.

In his early years and under his own initiative, Tom taught himself how to play guitar. He would later go on to learn multiple instruments throughout his career, which has now spanned many decades in the music business. With a background in traditional Irish music and an extensive knowledge and love for Jazz. His musical knowledge crosses the divide between old and new.

The opening track of our podcast is an Electronica piece titled Don't take it. Written and composed by the man himself, its a far cry from traditional styles he would he would be most widely associated with. This venture into modern electronic shows his development as an artist an his willingness to learn and try new things.
