The blowhard Irishman Tom Long was New Zealand’s official hangman 1877-1905. This hard-case was also a habitual drunk who ran-up numerous misdemean crimes. More than once ended-up in jail himself. A public menace who got chased out of pubs & towns by locals and police alike. This is a great black comedy.
