Surprise! There's a new Cloverfield movie! In honor of the spontaneous debut of 'The Cloverfield Paradox', which went up on Netflix following last night's Super Bowl, Jenna and Chris are here to record a very spontaneous episode. The movie is almost too fresh for us to get an overall critical consensus, but we're here to talk about the immediate - and polarizing - reaction this movie has gotten so far.
(SPOILERS, obviously.)
How does this one-of-a-kind release strategy impact the Cloverfield franchise - and the film industry as a whole? Do the unsolved questions in this movie really matter? Just how tall is Elizabeth Debicki? Listen to find out.

The new year is all about trying new things, so Jenna and Chris decided to dive into a new genre - the rom com. The first one on the list? Daniel Radcliffe / Zoe Kazan's “What If” from 2014.
What do we like and not like about the rom com genre? Is this movie really as “millennial” as the reviews make it out to be? Just how amazing is Adam Driver in this movie? Listen to find out.

2017 is coming to a close, and what better way for Jenna and Chris to celebrate it (or rather, torture themselves) than by watching Netflix's newest original movie, 'Bright'.
Just how bad is this movie's attempt at a racial allegory? What does this movie say about Netflix's place in the pop culture landscape? Could this general concept work with /anyone/ else behind the camera? Listen to find out.

Hey, did you hear? A new Star Wars movie came out! And as it turns out, its Rotten Tomatoes page has become a pretty big deal - which Jenna and Chris definitely weren't expecting.
Is this controversy valid, or is history just repeating itself? What makes Jenna start crying during this episode? And is Kylo Ren still a punk bitch? Listen to find out.
The behemoth that is Disney just bought Fox. From the MCU, David Fincher and Boss Baby this deal effects the entire film industry. Jenna and Chris are here to break down as many facets of the deal they can. Will Marvel keep making films like 'Deadpool' and 'Logan'? How will Disney manage new IPs like 'Alien'? Does anyone still care about 'Avatar'? No, no one does. Join in on this discussion and let us know what you think by following us on social media:
