I managed to drag my sorry carcass across the street to pick up the replacement adapter. I should have just ordered one from Amazon and had it shipped. Or walked without talking. Or something.

It’s clearly in the air here. I’ve been distracted beyond measure by the new cat, the days growing shorter, and – ahem – Eve Online. Again.

I recapped my working life. Again. I’ve been doing a lot of reflection lately. I didn’t bring too much of that into the bare statements of where I worked and lived over the last 69 years.

Well, rebuilt the operating system. It’s at least a clean install now. I talked about some of the fun I had yesterday.

And hardware issues making it later. I’m going to have to rebuild this machine again. Grr.

We’ll see how it goes. I talked about Burnell’s Foreign Sorcerer series again.

Apparently today was the local balloon fly in. I spent an inordinate amount of time on the gasbags over my head.
