I’m thinking a lot about the choices we’re offered and the myths surrounding both the choices and the offerings.

I slept in (until 6:15) so didn’t get out until 7. I noticed a huge difference in noise levels.

I was actually cold for the first half of the walk this morning. It was glorious.

I forgot to say “rabbit, rabbit” this morning. I hope that’s not a sign. It seemed quiet today without Dave.

At least for now. It’ll get noisier – at least in my head – as the day gets going.

The cool air felt marvelous. Not a lot of smoke in the air today. I did a lot of walking but got onto my hobby horse about the pitfalls of teleconferencing and the way synchronous voice/video work to suppress ideas.

Down in the neighborhood, the trees and fences kept things calm but it was a bit of a blustery day.

The overnight temps dropped back into the low 60s and some of the smoke dissipated. I saw a lot of new people this morning. I talked about books I’m reading and some of the beta feedback from Dark Knight Station.
