The highlight of the morning happened when one of the “regulars” drove by and recognized me. She stopped to ask if I was all right because she hadn’t seen me walking in so long.

Today is a preview of the winter to come. It started and finished cold and windy. I hope I’ll have more to talk about as I get back into the groove.

New beginning? I hope so.

But my ankle likes it best when I take my meds and take the walk so, fingers crossed that this trend continues.

So good. Now if I can just remember how to do this thing.

That’s what my daughter called it. Having just been through one “waiting for the result” period myself, I thought it quite apropos. I don’t remember what I talked about.

The meds seem to be working better when I take the properly, but I’m still kinda light headed this morning. Over time, that effect should become less noticeable.

I gave an update on what’s going on and managed to do the walk today. Tomorrow? We’ll see…

Luckily we had neither but the temps are below freezing and the fires still burn in the mountains. It’s only a matter of time, but I got out this morning and it felt good.

It’s not changing. Just sayin’ I talked too much about that today.
