Job’s Ninth Speech: A Response to Bildad. Everything works from God's power, and despite the curse of sin - the world has been subjected to vanity not willingly (Romans 8:20) - God is still in control. Everything is still under God's power.

Paul’s Thanksgiving and Prayer. Christ is supreme.

Bildad’s Third Response to Job.

Paul on the Island of Malta. The snake could not destroy him; and Satan - the greatest serpent - cannot destroy Christians. Paul arrives at Rome. Paul preaches under guard at Rome. Paul says that sometimes religious people can become very hardened to the message of spirit and truth from Jesus (Isaiah 6:9,10). There is some measure of a natural "spiritual blindness and deafness" in people towards God, but it can be exacerbated by cold religious training. Only Jesus can open our eyes.

Job Asks Why the Wicked Are Not Punished. Light (righteousness; life) vs. darkness (wickedness; death). In his world, the unrighteous seem to skirt the judgement against sin - for a time.

Paul Sails for Rome. The Storm at sea (the storm of life). The shipwreck (but no one dies since they listened to Paul and stayed inside the ship when he told them to. If you want to live stay inside the ship with King Jesus). We belong to God and we serve Him!

Job’s Eighth Speech: A Response to Eliphaz. Without the light and hope that Jesus brings, God is too perfect for us and He terrifies us.

Paul gives a witness to the gospel. King Agrippa is persuaded strongly. Governor Festus believes that Paul is out of his mind from too much study - and so was not persuaded. (It resembles the same pattern where Jesus witnesses to two thieves on the crosses around Him, but only one of them chooses to follow Him. From all other accounts, the other didn't). In any event, the Festus and Agrippa are convinced Paul is not a criminal in any sense.

Eliphaz’s Third Response to Job

Paul Appears before Festus. Paul speaks to King Agrippa II. Paul appeals to Caesar. Paul also "insists" that Jesus is not dead - he is believed to be dead by those who are not believers - but, in actual real time, alive. This is a contrast with some other religions whose adherents follow rules and/or leaders which are currently dead.
