God’s Mercy on Israel. God's mercy is for everyone. If you stop trusting in Christ, you can be grafted out of the Tamed Olive Tree and if you start trusting in Christ (directed for Israel), then they (you) can be re-grafted in (again).

King David takes a census. Apparently, it was wrong that he did that (Joab wondered why) and there is judgement from God for the sin of David to do this census. David builds an altar.
