Queen Athaliah - the daughter of Jezebel - rules in Judah for six years. The Revolt against Athaliah and her subsequent death. The crowning of 7-year-Joash the boy king (her grandson; and her dead son Ahaziah's - who was killed by King Jehu of Israel - son). And the removal of all? some? Baal worship from the southern kingdom, Judah.

God offers comfort to all. Paul's change of plans. Depending on God's wisdom and grace, not depending on any other wisdom. Now, I know where that song came from with the refrain, "All his promises are...Yes and Amen!"

King Jehu Kills Ahab’s Family. Jehu Kills the Priests of Baal and destroys the religion of Baalism. (Jehu is like the Antichrist of Revelation 13 / Satan: he is the leader of a country that was once good and godly, and he has been made king by God, but he himself is godless. King Jesus is a Godly King, but he too is relentless in Revelation 19: 16-18.)

Jehu Anointed King of Israel. He is ruthless and kills King Joram of Israel (reigned 12 years) and King Ahaziah of Judah (reigned one year). He also kills Jezebel, the queen and wife of King Ahab.

The woman from Shunem returns to Israel after 7 years (her son was raised to life by Elijah the prophet). Through prophetic sight, Elisha is shown that Hazael will become king of Aram (Syria?). He will be an enemy of Israel by waging war on Israel. Elijah already foresaw Hazael as king of Aram in 1 Kings 19:15. King Jehoram (bad king) rules in Judah for 8 years. King Ahaziah (bad king) Rules in Judah for only one year.

Tongues and Prophesy. A call to Orderly Worship because God is not a God of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). Disorder and chaos is not a sign of God, but may be an indicator of demonic forces at play: the devil is the god of chaos, spiritual blindness and death (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Lepers visit the enemy camp. Israel plunders the camp after it has been shown to be deserted. Grocery prices and inflation goes down; supply goes up. Never doubt the word of a powerful prophet of God or you may just be sorry. Never doubt what God says or you may be guilty of making bad decisions with eternal consequences.
