Tomorrowâs Path by Anna Jacobs
Gorgeously interesting, Tomorrow's Path by Anna Jacobs is a modern read that starts out more of a romance than the author is known for. Interesting also because the protagonist is a writer. The story line captures a very believable conflict finding a balance, the need to be out and about to promote books while longing for solitude to write. Mesh this problem with a newly found desire to share space with someone from whom emotional comfort can be derived and youâre ready to be pulled into Anna Jacobâs story.
Just when the reader is settled with a plot of romantic conflicts the author injects intrigue and off we go on a rather wonderfully tame thriller of a mystery.
Tomorrowâs Path by Anna Jacobs is almost three plots wound in one; rather grand and quite thought provoking. Well worth five stars and re-reading at regular intervals.
Less Than Mediocre
This was a quick and easy read. The romance and suspense questionable. Jessica was likable but Jivan was not my type of hero. He was rather boring, whimpy, whiny, and pathetic. I did not care for the pace of this novel. There would be an exciting or crucial moment in the book and the dialogue would abruptly stop and the story would then rush ahead days months and years. Therefore, not provoking any emotions from the reader. The ending was rushed and not satisfying to me. Unless I am mistaken, Jivan our hero in this "romantic" story never says the words "I love you" to Jessica. The only reason I am giving this book two stars is I liked the descriptions of Australia!
