Clint Russell of Liberty Lockdown discusses the inflation problem, the insane mortgage business, the J.D. Vance conundrum, and last but not least, that weird Israel provision in the NDAA.
In this wide-ranging conversation, Tom and Clint work through the economic devastation facing ordinary Americans — and the political class that either can't or won't fix it. A stat lit the fuse: the dollar has lost nearly 29% of its purchasing power in just six years. That's not an abstraction. It's why only 12% of Americans under 30 are both married and homeowners — compared to over 50% in the 1950s. Band-aids and rent controls won't fix it. Government-run grocery stores won't fix it. Only sound money and an end to central bank money printing will fix it — and neither party is willing to go there.
Clint draws on his years as a hard money mortgage broker to explain why the housing market is structurally broken, why mortgage rates above 7% have frozen buyers out entirely, and why the "fix" being floated — 50-year mortgages — is just a mechanism to get the next generation into permanent debt servitude rather than bring prices down.
Then the conversation turns to the NDAA. Buried in the defense bill is Section 219, a provision that would formally intertwine American and Israeli military-industrial infrastructure — co-developing defense technology, sharing IP, and making the relationship effectively permanent. Clint breaks down exactly what it means and why he called it treason.
From there: J.D. Vance's Joe Rogan appearance, the Epstein rabbit hole that went nowhere politically, Trump's pivot to the neocon establishment, the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt and what it may have meant for Trump's willingness to fight back, and the future of the America First movement — including who might actually carry the torch in 2028.

The great Dave Smith talks about the Iran war, the problems, and what 2028 might look like.
Tom and Dave go deep on one of the most predictable disasters in recent American foreign policy — the Iran war. How did it start? Why did it fail? And who was really driving it?
In this episode they break down the full arc: from Netanyahu and Mossad's White House pitch, to Trump launching a war that no senior American official actually endorsed, to the desperate ceasefire attempts and the Memorandum of Understanding that sent hawks into a frenzy — and then back to war again. Dave deploys his now-legendary "Junior Mint" theory to explain the one missing piece in US-Israeli relations that no amount of analysis can fully account for.

In this clip from The Tom Woods Show, Tom examines Alexander Hamilton’s first draft of George Washington’s Farewell Address—and its argument that a republic depends on shared principles, national sentiment, and cultural unity.
Hamilton’s words raise a difficult historical question: can a republic remain stable without a common national identity? The passage also discusses open borders, immigration, diversity, foreign influence, and the fate of indigenous nations.

Was Benjamin Franklin opposed to immigration—or concerned about the scale and consequences of mass migration?
In this clip from The Tom Woods Show, Tom reads Franklin’s own words about German immigration into colonial Pennsylvania, including concerns about language, culture, population, and political power.
The quoted language reflects 18th-century historical context and is presented for discussion—not as a modern statement by Tom Woods or a simple one-to-one comparison with today’s immigration debates.

In this clip from The Tom Woods Show, Tom examines Zohran Mamdani’s housing policies and questions whether calls for equality could ultimately make New York’s housing problems worse.
Woods argues that policies targeting landlords and rental properties may make housing less viable, leading to reduced supply and greater government control. He also discusses political ideology, Karl Marx, and the difference between creating wealth and destroying what others have built.

Tom Woods argues that the progressive worldview treats government mandates as if they can solve complex problems without trade-offs, unintended consequences, or collateral damage.
He explains why this simplistic approach can lead to contempt for opposing viewpoints and references research associated with Jonathan Haidt on how people understand political beliefs different from their own.

Is wealth inequality always the result of exploitation?
Stefan Molyneux uses the example of two farmers—one with 100 acres and one with just a single acre—to challenge the idea that differences in wealth are explained only by theft or injustice.
He argues that skill, productivity, and better results can create dramatically different outcomes over time. The discussion also examines why fortunes may not last across generations and why economic inequality is often framed as a moral conflict rather than a difference in ability or output.
A concise perspective on wealth, productivity, merit, and the debate over whether the wealthy earned their position or took it from others.

Are boys being punished simply for behaving like boys?
In this clip from episode 2779 of The Tom Woods Show, Stefan Molyneux argues that modern education and society increasingly treat normal male behavior as a problem. He challenges the way boys’ energy, restlessness, competitiveness, and hands-on learning instincts are interpreted, arguing that schools often expect boys to conform to systems that were not designed around their natural development.
Molyneux also discusses ADHD diagnoses as part of what he sees as a broader cultural conflict over masculinity, male development, and the role of boys in modern society.
