Tongues Out Podcast

If you have ever watched the series, "You" on Netflix, you would know what I mean by the title of this podcast. I recently started to rewatch the series because of a conversation I had with my brother about an actor that shows up in season two that was actually outed as a child predator, but once I realized my brother hadn't seen the series, I started to watch it with him. Wow the main character is disturbing...

So today my Mom left after spending nearly a week and a half with us so she could spend more time with her granddaughter who she hadn't seen in over a year. It was hard to see my family go, but now that they are vaccinated, I feel a lot safer about them coming to visit whenever they want. But I also have something cute to share in today's podcast which uplifted everyone when they learn this.

I'm sorry everyone, but the reality is that I am still feeling sick and I don't really have much on my mind except getting over this illness. But in the course of thinking about being sick, I asked myself "What would be the worst symptom to have during a normal cold?" And here's my response...

I am fortunate that whatever I have is not Covid, but honestly I hate being sick in general. What makes it even harder is that my daughter is also not feeling well, and I feel horrible seeing her that way. Luckily she's doing a lot better and I know in a couple more days, I will be feeling better too.

Hey everyone sorry but in the spirit of not missing a day uploading a message out there, I am keeping this one today super short because I am not feeling good at all. 

Honestly I cannot stand the feeling of being so full that I have to take long naps...One of the benefits to me becoming a vegan five years ago was that I didn't get that feeling very easily like I did when I wasn't a vegan because I do love food. And that love of food used to make it so easy for me to over indulge myself. So yea, being full sucks....

It seems fitting to talk about gambling, especially since you were born in Las Vegas Luna. Your father used to love gambling before he moved to Vegas with your mother, but he made a commitment to himself while he was living here that he would resist the urge, as much as possible, to gamble in the gambling capital in the world. So let's talk about gambling and why you shouldn't ever make it a hobby!

That Simone Biles is one impressive athlete...And she also reminded me that the Tokyo Summer Olympics are happening not too far from now. I am super excited and a little sad about these Olympic games, and in today's podcast I tell you why.

I might have my issues about the current state of America, but I am still proud of my fact that I am first generation American. On the flip side when I was growing up as a kid, I hated visiting my family's country because I never enjoyed it until I grew a little older and actually appreciated it more. So let's talk about it!

Honestly I cannot wait to see how we humans travel from point A to point B. I know that nothing will change fundamentally for the average person living in the US, but if you are able to save a little bit of money, some of the technology rolling out in the very near future. So let's talk about the ones that I am super excited about but also some slight bad news related to this subject....
