Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott has said the Voice to Parliament is not in the best interests of Australia.

Mr Abbott told Michael McLaren that ceremonies like 'Welcome to Country' are getting "completely out of hand", saying that he wants the vote on the Voice, expected in October, to fail.
